The transition into fall is a good time to make adjustments to your decor. The light has shifted, and the spaces that worked well all summer now need something different: layered textures in warmer tones, perhaps a refresh on linens and home goods.

THE PALETTE OF THE FALL FIELD

Wheat, yarrow, oak, millet, and more are dried at peak color. They hold their shape straight through the season and into the next, which makes them one of the more permanent updates you can make to a shelf or a tabletop.

NEW TERRACOTTA PLANTERS

Hand-thrown from clay in Honduras and finished in layered washes from whitewash to deep charcoal, in new sizes and styles to nurture your plants through the upcoming season. 

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD

A vase spends most of its life between arrangements, which is why the form matters as much as the function. Tadelakt, walnut, and hand-thrown terracotta are materials with enough presence to occupy a shelf on their own through the months when fresh stems are harder to find.

SETTLE IN WITH CANDLELIGHT

By October the evening starts early, and a well-placed flame does more for a room than any overhead light. Carved alabaster and rock salt glow from within when lit. Beeswax burns slow and clean, with the faint scent of honey.
