From the Pot to the Plate

The rounded bowl lifts ravioli and poached eggs fully supported as they come out of the water, draining cleanly before anything reaches the plate. The 12" handle keeps the hand away from the heat and gives enough reach into deep pots. Between pasta cooks, the same spoon skims foam or fat from a simmering stock with equal ease.

Pennsylvania Black Cherry Wood

Pennsylvania black cherry reads differently from piece to piece, the grain shifting through the bowl face and handle in its own pattern depending on where in the tree the wood was cut. That character deepens the more the spoon is used and cared for. Wash with warm soapy water after each use and dry immediately. Treat with wood wax periodically to keep the wood from drying out.
